Anybody have any personal experience (good or bad) with do it yourself solar power kits to hook up to the home? I’ve seen a lot on the Internet. The same company is both recommended and warned that it’s a rip off, depending on the website. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am looking for a system which will act as a blind on a window but with the same abilities ie. adjust the shutter to vary the light.
I am keen to block the sun from the back of my house but do not want to block all the light.
This will serve two purposes; reduce heat and thus the expenditure of power on devices to cool the property/ create energy for perhaps the heating of water.
I am working on the principle that a lot of energy is wasted in summer on fans and air conditioning systems and such blinds would have a double whammy on such useage.
Any ideas?
Mike. You will find its too expensive as I have the patent in place.
May your entrails be used to feed the neady.

Pool store personnel say the solar panel systems won’t work because the Intex pool filters won’t push enough water thru the system.
