i am doing a research project on solar energy, and i was just wonder what kind of solar panels do calculators such as the Texas Instruments- 30x iis use –thank you greatly

I am writing a paper for my college english class and it has to be about energy. The only interesting topic that I can find is how wind turbines are killing birds. Are there any government policies concerning wind turbines killing birds? Also, any other good ideas for a paper about energy? It can be any type of energy, I just have to have an arguable thesis statement.
Well, I can see that most everyone in this area is just trying to find the lowest statistical numbers that they can possibly find about bird mortality and wind turbines. Yes, things such as skyscrapers, windows and cats do kill more birds than the turbines do, but the turbines DO kill many birds. So why add to the bird mortality rate with wind turbines? There are other natural energy forms. Geothermal anyone? Solar even? Everyone is freaking out trying to protect the human race, but we need to protect animals too. I think we can put off wind energy until it is safe for humans and animals.

I am looking to put a solar powered ceiling fan in a summer cottage. Is it possible to just buy a specific fan that comes with a kit or do I need to hook it up to a panel? Any information would be helpful thanks!
Thanks to people for suggestions of where to buy fans that run on solar power, now what sort of panal would you need to get to run a fan like this?
