Where Solar Energy Roams

This was a short project about Solar Energy for my Environmental Studies class. Groups were suggested to do a power point presentation, but I decided to do a video for my portion instead of a power point because I think power points are boring, boring, and sometimes boring. I asked a friend to help me out because I only had a small idea on how the film would play out. Together, we created something that we’re both happy with and surprisingly proud of.

Would wind power and solar power have become far more prevalent than they are today?

Solar Energy for 2 Servers?

Hello. I am an average home user owning 2 servers, they run all the time and I need that for remote access, web access and at the same time, I am using one of them as a domain controller. They run Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. They are really good. Only thing that’s a little issue is that I have a crappy comcast residental internet access, which doesn’t have support for a lot of professional networking, but thats not that bad for my needs. Now, there is only 1 thing which makes this system limited, Power Usage. My electricity bill is very high because of these 2 servers, plus my workstations that are on all the time. One server is 500w power supply and another one is 450w. Now, is there a way I could use solar power for my servers, so that I conserve my electricity bill for lights or something other than computers? Or is solar power just good enough for lights and radios because of the watt usage. Please tell me weather I can user solar power for my server system. Thank You.
