Question by qikceltic: What are some of the best places to find quality “tabbed solar cells” online?
I’d like to build a couple (or few) solar panels in the 50-80 watt ranges for my southern exposure roof to power some appliances in my upstairs areas. I need to find a couple of good online vendors to try and compare cells and builds. Ideally I’d like it to be a tested vendor or at very least a vendor who has a web site which includes customer ratings and uncensored comments.

Other than differences between amorphic, polycrystaline, or monocrystaline, the manufacturer is not going to matter much be it Honda, Toshiba, Sharp, Powerfilm or someone else. The differences in performance are with the technology not the manufacturer.
You can try http://www.northerntool.com for a supplier that ships in the US, and has many stores. Their prices are going to be about average.
Powerfilm has some links on their site to approved vendors. The technology is different because they use they use a roll film method for assembly. http://www.powerfilmsolar.com
